After you have become a Master Mason in a Blue Lodge, you are eligible for membership in the Scottish Rite. The Valley of Traverse City is very excited that you are considering the extension of your Masonic journey.  We stand ready to assist you in any way that we can in making your journey Inspirational, Convenient, Enjoyable and Rewarding.

There are four bodies in Scottish Rite Masonry which you must be a member of to be a 32° Mason. They are,

Lodge of Perfection – Conferring 4°-14°
Council of Princes of Jerusalem – Conferring the 15° and 16°
Chapter of Rose Croix – Conferring the 17° and 18°
Consistory – Conferring the 19°-32°

The Valley of Traverse City only confers degrees through the 18°.
The Consistory degrees must be conferred by a larger Valley. Most of our Members choose Grand Rapids due to being the closest. If you have interest in a different Valley, we can discuss those options with you.

The petition Fees for the Valley of Traverse City are $90.00. The Petition fee for Grand Rapids is $30.00. Which must accompany your petitions.
